The Council has the following vacancy. WOMENS CASE WORKER - HIDDEN VALLEY (Level 5-6 $56,160- $60,597) Permanent Full Time Plus generous salary sacrifice options The position will deliver case management and case work services to women living at and related to Hidden Valley town camp with a particular commitment to support people with drug and alcohol issues. We are seeking an enthusiastic person with experience or qualification in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Social Work, Social Policy, Community Development and/or Youth Work. It is key for this position to also have good organisational and interpersonal skills. It is highly desirable that the applicant will have awareness and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and an ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal people. The Council has the following vacancy. ICMS COORDINATOR (Level 7.1 $69,517) Permanent Full Time 12 mth Maternity Leave Contract Tangentyere ICMS (Indigenous Case Management Service) is part of the Social Services Division, which aims to improve the quality of life of Central Australian Aboriginal people and the wider community through providing innovative, responsive and culturally appropriate services. This position is responsible for the supervision of the ICMS team as well as coordination of all ICMS activities including: case management, advocacy, return to country, emergency relief, referrals, prison release program, proof of identify service and networking with other service providers. This is a 12 month maternity leave contract. We are seeking an experienced person with solid case management work experience, ideally working in the homeless sector, with strong coordination and organisation skills Applicants must have an understanding of Aboriginal culture and law and a commitment to address social justice issues facing Aboriginal people in Alice Springs.
