Community Centre Coordinator (Larapinta Valley)

Salary: $86,581 per annum pro rata
Hours/Employment Status: Permanent part time - 30 hrs per week
Access to Education (A2E) is an innovative and unique program that supports Aboriginal children and youth to achieve positive outcomes in education, safety and wellbeing in the Alice Springs Greater Region.
Community Centres are a central component of A2E, and operate as a multi-purpose family resource community centre. Each Centre provides services and programs for residents and visitors to nearby Town Camps, with particular focus on school engagement, alcohol and other drug prevention and minimising the harm of family and domestic violence locally. This includes developing, implementing, partnering and evaluating a multitude of sustainable programs and services, which are community-led and engaging. Operating from a strengths-based approach, each centre aims to improve the health, social, environmental and economic well being of the community in a way that strengthens and respects culture.
