Tangentyere Council is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Town Camps and Central Australia.

First incorporated in 1979, the organisation was a finalist in the 2016 Reconciliation Australia, Indigenous Governance Awards and is one of the 15-20 biggest Aboriginal Corporations in Australia.

Tangentyere Artists is part of the Social Services Division, which aims to improve the quality of life of Central Australian Aboriginal people and the wider community through providing innovative, responsive and culturally appropriate services.The Aboriginal Art Worker supports all functions of the Art Centre to assist with sustaining an Art enterprise to support Town Camp artists.
This position is an Indigenous Australian identified position.

This position requires a satisfactory Police Check and Ochre Card.
